Letter Writer to Post-Bulletin: Nelson is a champion for Minnesota students

Article, News, Newspaper Article, Uncategorized education, letter to the editor, nick laning, sen. carla nelson, senate district 26

Sen. Carla Nelson

From today’s Post-Bulletin:

Carla Nelson has always stood for morality on social issues, but the best thing about her is budget politics. Carla believes in spending cuts and ensuring that our state does not have a yearly deficit. She has stood her ground on spending concerning issues like education.

Her belief is that we invest in our schools instead of other non-essential programs, so that our state will thrive in the future. Education is so important and Carla knows that, considering she was a teacher.

I believe a vote for Carla is a vote for strength in St. Paul and continued effort toward a growing Minnesota economy, along with continuous improvement for our schools.

Carla has always shown great support for our veterans and votes for legislation that will give them what they need when they come home. I know that Carla believes in Minnesota, so if we choose to believe in her, a change could occur in St. Paul.

As a student, I support Carla Nelson because she is a strong leader and the best person to lead in the capital. Vote Carla Nelson.
