Minnesota Council on Disability Exceptional Advocate Award

Senator Carla Nelson has received the Exceptional Advocate Award for the Minnesota Council on Disability. The Exceptional Advocate award goes to citizen advocates and legislators who do notable work for people with disabilities. The Minnesota Council on Disability thanked Senator Nelson for her “dedication to disability rights, accessibility, and inclusion.” Senator Nelson said, “I’m honored to be named an Exceptional Advocate Legislator for the Minnesota Council on Disability. I’m committed to improving the lives and opportunities for all Minnesotans with disabilities.”
