Farm Bureau Endorses Sen. Carla Nelson

Sen. Carla Nelson was recently endorsed by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Political Action Committee. “The agriculture and food industry is the second largest employer in Minnesota,” said Sen. Nelson. “I am thrilled to have been endorsed by the Minnesota Farm Bureau, a leader in agriculture.”
“Farming is vital not only to the health of the State of Minnesota, but to District 26, as well,” Sen. Nelson continued. “In terms of land-use, a large portion of Olmsted County is rural and agricultural. In my district, I am honored and proud to work with so many hard-working people who put the food on our tables, from communities like Eyota, Stewartville, Dover, Chatfield, and High Forest. There is even significant productive use of agricultural lands in the City of Rochester, and Rochester Township.”
