Whose Red Signs Are Everywhere?

A letter to the editor from yesterday’s Post-Bulletin, titled “Nelson Looks Out For Olmsted County”:

It’s election time again, and campaign signs are popping up everywhere. I’ve seen signs of all sizes and colors promoting candidates for many offices, parties and nonpartisan races.

Yet there is one sign that seems to show up in yards with signs promoting all types of candidates.

Those popular signs are for our state senator Carla Nelson. I read in the Post-Bulletin’s endorsement of Sen. Nelson that she not only authored 21 bills, but that they were passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the governor.

I think we need someone like that in St. Paul, someone who’s not afraid to look out for our interests and pocketbooks here in Olmsted County, and able to reach across the aisle to get the right things done.
