Letter: Sen. Nelson is an advocate for small businesses and taxpayers

Carla Nelson has proven herself to be strong advocate for Rochester working on commonsense solutions at the State Capitol to help Minnesota grow and prosper. She is known as a hardworking, thoughtful legislator and has been a forceful voice for small businesses and taxpayers. She has been recognized for her work receiving many awards such as National Federation of Independent Business Guardian of Small Business; American Heart Association Legislator of the Year; and Economic Development Legislator of Distinction.

Carla opposed job-killing tax increases such as the $2 billion tax increase that raised taxes to third highest in the nation, detrimentally impacting many small businesses and farmers. We need more legislators like Carla Nelson who are willing to work on a bipartisan approach to creating solutions that will best position Minnesota for a bright economic future and strong job growth. I urge your support of Carla Nelson.
